Depending on the snack you pick you can have something both yummy and healthy! Learning good food habits young is really important. It can help decrease the risk of heart issues later in life and build a better relationship with food. Here are 5 healthy choices for kid friendly snacks.

1.Apples
Apples are a great choice for a healthy snack, Apples are full of vitamins and are high in fiber and antioxidants, they are also easy and delicious! You can eat them plain or make apple slices and eat them with yogurt or almond butter!

This is a super easy and yummy snack with lots of opportunities for verity. You can pick your favorite heart healthy veggies like carrots, bell peppers, celery, and many others.
